and I'm confused.

She's wonderful. She's beautiful, smart, witty, funny, and everything I'd want in a girl. Except, she's pregnant.

I feel like I wouldn't mind being with her anyway, but she's 7 months in to her pregnancy, and the father of the baby left her, which is another thing I admire about her, she's a tough woman.. I kinda want to be there for her, so it wouldn't be so hard.

Also, don't worry about whether or not you could raise her kids financially, if you could pitch in, even a little, you could make her feel like someone again. And thats a feeling any single mother would be dying for.

Interesting, all depends on how she feels about it though. She might have problems with trusting another man again seeing as how the supposed father of the child left her. I'd suggest find the right time and explain your feelings. If she doesn't feel the same way or needs time to think and such be sure to inform her you're okay with it and still want to be friends.

Aslong as you respect her through this tough time even if she says no now it may be because she has too much going on for her rght now. Just be sure to be there to comfort her when she needs it most.

No, what I mean is, do you think you'll want to be there for a long time? To be the father figure to these kids?

If you don't intend on being there for 15+ years to help raise the kids, then I don't suggest getting involved with her. Committing a fatherhood role at just 19 is a big commitment and a big, life changing decision.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. 19 just seems too young to be a father.

I'm a telephone operator for a Verizon call center.

The guy that answers when you call "411" or "xxx-555-1212".

I make decent money, I have about $500 left over after bills every month..

And yeah, I've had some friends that ended up single moms before, and I did what I could as a friend, but I understand how they can feel.

You're looking at these kids as obstacles, and you're willing to go to any length to be with this woman.
What about when these kids grow up, will you tolerate them in their adolecence?
What if the dad wants back in the group, he might want partial or full custody.
Sounds like tunnel vision, and you're not seeing the BIG picture.

19 is young, though I turn 20 soon, it's not much of a difference. And I can't say I know if I'd be there that long, that's why you date people, to see who you'd want to be with. I just want to date her, I don't want to marry her.

If she's already a mother, it's too late for her to be dating. Regardless if you like her. Love and like are very different things. And when children are in the picture, it's nothing that should be fooled around with. I'm telling you this because I have friends that have been there. I honestly believe you should just stay friends. You can't help how you feel, but you can help from making a huge mistake. Don't get in too far.
