Most songs in the audio portal don't have lyrics?
I think it's a real shame that people aren't more expressive.

On another note anyone wanna help me write some lyrics for my incomplete acoustic song #2?

Most of the people who submit here either

- rely completely on computer software and synths rather than real instruments when making music
- don't have the proper mics/other equipment to record somewhat decently
- can't sing for shit

Well I like to make music that has minimal vocals.
If I do make a song that requires vocals (remixed songs) I try to put in acapellas. Usually with little success.
So it's down to me singing. Which is like the sound of dieing animals.

I agree with what he says some people do not have the right programs/equipment to record with. Not to mention that the prices on decent mics are pretty high.

It is possible to express your emotions in something that is instrumental.

Yeah, I just got a nice mic, and I'm pretty happy with it, but recording my guitar directly into my sound card does some strange things - I guess a usb pre thing is next on the list.
