First off, fuck off you other browser users unless you know the answer, so don't turn this into a flame war and all that shit.

I will often open up new tabs and such, since it is possible to set multiple websites as your home(2 tabs open when I press home) I was wondering if it is possible to set a default website so when I open a new tab it opens to google for example.

In before FireFox sucks.

If what your trying to ask is if you can have a homepage for when you open a new tab, you cant. It's not that hard though to make google your homepage and click the fancy home button when you open a new tab.

I honestly don't know if it is, I think you can only set that for when you open up a new Firefox window. When I open up new tabs, all it gives me is a blank page, so I dunno. probably not in my opinion.

You can always ctrl+click or middle mouse click on the home button, that opens your homepage as a new tab, and my homepage is google, for example.

Hmm, thanks for that, I'm still getting used to FF3 sadly enough...

To open a new tab, I always click the home button with the "scroll ball". (or whatever it's called.) That opens a new tab to my home page.

Oh, boy.

If you get the extension tab mix plus you can change this setting. The extension is worth getting anyways because it makes the Firefox tabs so much better.

I use a bookmarks toolbar, and middle click.

Simple and quick.
