Developers should just start giving all games difficulty options but do what RE4 did and make it where you have to earn the harder difficulties to give it a little more replay value and challenge.

Yeah but difficulty doesn't work for every game. You can't really give a difficulty option to a Zelda game, what will that change? Harder monsters and boss fights, but what about the puzzle aspect?

When I hear them talking about making a more accessible Zelda, I think of them toning down on the puzzles and thinking parts of the game. Kids can wrap their heads around swinging a sword and killing shit, but some of the more challenging puzzles can be hard for a young child to overcome. So, if they decide to make all of the puzzles brain dead, then that would be a huge bummer.

I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.

does the world have ADD or something, I personally prefer a challenge (to the point where its not ludacris but makes you try and have to figure it out)

But they made that LoZ:OoT master quest remake when Wind Waker came out and it was more difficult then the original, they made the bosses harder, put more enimes in, and switched all the puzzles around (I'm still stuck in the light temple) and in the very original LoZ, when you beat the game the first time around you unlock the second quest that was harder and everything, even dungeon locations and the old man were switched around. So why could they bring this back?

I think Zelda games should have difficulty settings or a master quest version of each game. But I'd much rather the Master quest put in the same game unlocked after beating it, not seperate.

I tried Master Quest once for a few minutes in the first temple. A bat cought fire after flying through a torch and burned away my shield. Then I died in a room full of Gohma larva with no shield. I was surrounded.

Miyamoto needs to catch wind of this concept for the next zelda games.

Here are my thoughts on this, I agree with the difficulty settings.

Like, in beginer mode, rooms filled with puzels could be filled with only low level monsters, so If you play a harder mode after, youd be like "whoa, this wasnt here before" And the Zelda master mode will have the enemies much tougher/smarter.

Another thing about the zelda series that neads a change is the main villian, how many times have they used Ganon, Give ganon a break Nintendo! Use Vaati or some thing, he can do with another game.

You know who else could do with a game?

Why do they have to mess with Zelda? Phantom Hourglass was so easy it borders on boring, and TP held your hand all the way through telling you exactly where to go. I want to play the dungeons out of order, I want to die at least once when I play through the game.

Why can't they make new franchises for the casuals and make diificult Zelda games? The casuals aren't even into Zelda, that's part of what makes them casuals; they have no attachment to these series.

Remember in the first game, on one told you how to get into death mountain. You had to figure it out from weird old man speeches.

without the puzzles zelda is no different from your average hack and slash rpg. When i was much younger i enjoyed solving the puzzles and a young kid can pick it up just like everyone else if they learn to. Young kids normally play some type of kiddie puzzle solving games anyway. The save option already makes the game easy enough so what is nintendo trying to do here.

The zelda series is startin to get stale with the whole save princess zelda every fricken game from ganon. You know wat would be interesting? If instead of link saving zelda it would be zelda saving link. I would not mind using zelda's magic or maybe even going shiek some of those enemies asses.

when ganon died at the end of winwaker and hyrule was flooded and the master sword was left there i thought that the next one would take place in a whole new land with a whole new bad guy but Nintendo pissed me off there. Wind waker had lousy graphics but the gameplay was sweet I loved the rooms were you fought multiple enemies at ounce.

I'm still waiting for someone to put in a difficulty for the people who only play CoD, Rock Band, etc. Call it something like "you fucking pussy" mode.

Maybe if they make another DMC or Ninja Gaiden...

They might as well name it that. People who suck bad at games like zelda piss me off they just ask me 5,000 question instead of actually playing. It was the same back in the SNES days too people still thoughts even the easy games were hard. I remember people at my school who could not figure out pokemon red when that was one of the easiest games i have ever played in my life. Even when they dumb down the games they won't attract the new crowd they want.

All nintendo is going to do is piss off the fans and lose some and the People who can't figure it out will still not figure it out anyway. I'd hate to see zelda digress to something almost exactly like what 5 year olds play on the pc. Games being challenging is what makes them fun and worth playing if they want to make them easy you might as well just have them push a button and win.

When I play Zelda now, I try to avoid several heart containers to try and get some difficulty out of it.

Seriously, Nintendo neads to go back to the basics with some aspects, and start doing new things on other aspects.

Dumbing down the games is not the way to do it.

What makes you say that, just because they were easier dosn't mean that they're not for "real gamers".

Yeah I worded that wrong. I meant that the first two were difficult games that wouldn't appeal to people that weren't really into games but that all of the Zeldas since are designed for non-gamers and gamers alike, not just non-gamers.

I think a difficulty select would be a good idea, but I agree, Nintendo is making their games too easy.

I agree with you man but what people are saying is that if they make zelda games to easy and dumb the fans of the series will loose interest and the series will be ruined.

No you love hack and slash games, thats just apart of the zelda Games, it is above all a puzzle solving adventure, otherwise why play it when there are better hack and slash games out there.

A zelda game thats too easy is a Zelda game is almoast not worth buying in my book.
