If you had one bomb that could take down one NG feature, and allow you to build one over it, what would it be, and why?

Personally, I would blow up the chat section, I realize that it's probably going to open until I graduate high school (2011). So for three years or so, I can build a sound effects portal because, NG loves to give artists music, and not sound effects, which are sometimes hard to find.

i'd bomb the series section because you can put the shit in the collections and either make it so flashes automatically go to a collection or make more stuff for the NG mag. cause the NG mag could definately be pretty sweet but.. since they're not doing anything with it, it fuckin sucks

I'd fix the Audio portal.
by
1. Making the best of the week list four times as long
2. Adding a feature to have an audio portal song in your profile
3. Expanding the featured music on the front page
4. Implementing the blam/save system

I think that these would increase traffic to the audio portal, which probably would result in more and better artwork submitted as well.

I'm actually not really sure what I'd take away. I guess I'd get rid of NG Mag, as others have said. I never really understood it, and it's just sitting there doing nothing now. I don't know that I'd put anything in its place, though; I'm not as interested in adding completely new sections to NG as I am in improving existing ones.

A sound effects portal? Sure, sound effects can be hard to find, but they can also be hard to make. Besides, I can guarantee it would be a disaster. Give NG users the freedom to submit their own sound effects to a portal and get ready for a portal full of different fart sounds.

Nuke the NG.MAG and add a film portal. Unlike youtube, you'd have to aqquire a film submitting persmission, (maybe send to the portal mods a piece of your work), so there's no copyrighted material neither shit submitted. Just quality work.
