Anyone got a link to a programs that converters almost everything to .avi? I need it for my archos av 400. Thanks In Advance!

I love my archos, Ive got a 604 :D
You should use DivX Converter, its not free, but there is a trial. Stick it in google :)

I got it from download.com aka cnet. I think.
100% free. Converts the typical stuff.

I have it put it doesnt convert to .avi for the archos if at all .avi.

It works fine on my archos.
