I originally read it as fruit salad, so no wonder it didn't make any sense.

But yeah, fruit stand makes perfect sense.

My other guess was Sikh temple, but that would probably be too offensive.

Let it never be said I was explicitly proud of >everything< I like. Can cut back a bit more on here. But I'll be favoriting less...perverse stuff to cover up. In more ways than one.

But yeah, PM would be preferable in the future, comrade.

I was going to post on here for advice about this guy I could have potentially gone somewhere with, but I think that ship has sailed now. I'm pretty sure I played it all wrong.

My life is so full of depression and anxiety, I'm constantly paranoid about being alone forever. I'm just fairly certain that, at this point in my emotional maturity, I'm incapable of loving another human being.

Can anyone else relate?

I've already accepted that I'll be alone. By choice of course, or rather, the only other choice is unavailable. However, I've found I'm incapable of ever really caring about anyone other than this person. So, it's almost like yours.

Yup. I'm not focused on one person in particular, though, just in general I find myself not emotionally attracted to most people. I've never really felt a particular way about anyone that I would describe as 'love', or even the beginnings of that.

Well I'm glad that at least you don't go around claiming things to be love like some people do. As if demeaning it and claiming it is something simple to conjure up. Such as hormones.

For the longest time, yeah. I can't relate quite as much as I used to now, but I still recall the pain of those days. Returning to that old way scares the hell out of me, not that I'm desperate for companionship.

I'm still not convinced on the whole 'love' shindig - but I always had trouble relating to others or really caring much, and I can't say I've felt 'love' for family. There's really only one person I feel that intimate of a connection to, but I suspect it's largely in a selfish manner since she and I see eye-to-eye on a lot of things and have had similar experiences.

I dunno. I think I'm just rumbling again when I mean to convey a point, only I don't know what this point is. Perhaps I'm just still confused myself, not really knowing what love is. So much for being certain of what I think at last.

So I think I've posted in here before that I'm kind of slowly starting to come out of the closet and I've told a few friends at this point. For the most part they've all been friends who I knew would react well to it and not be awkward, I'm really not trying to make it to be a big deal.

But I just can't bring myself to tell my best friend. It's fucking stupid because I know he won't care but I'm just not sure how it's going to affect things. There are so few people who get me as well as this guy do and I'm terrified of fucking that up.

The problem is that since we've gone to university in different cities he's ended up in the crew of guys who I will call bromosexuals for lack of a better term. They get drunk and grab each others nipples and do shit like that for laughs or something, but are sexually into women. So now whenever I go back home and we hang out he ends up doing it around me too. He always initiates and I try to kind of play it off while not really encouraging it, but fuck if I don't enjoy it, he's hot and we're usually pretty drunk when it happens so my self-control is definitely not there. I have no problem with the idea of him not doing this with me anymore, but I'm worried when I tell him I'm into guys he'll look back on it like I was trying to get in his pants, or that I've been into him for all this time or some shit.

I mean I'm probably overthinking it completely because the damage is already done but I just don't want to fuck up our friendship... anyone got comments/advice?

I'd say just tell him. He seems he'd be cool with it. Just make sure to act the same around him after you come out, to show you're still the same person you always were. Otherwise it can get awkward as he might try treating you differently.

From what you've said, it doesn't seem like he'd take it the wrong way, and by not telling him you're creating distance to your friendship anyway. So long as you handle it tactfully, there's no reason you shouldn't do it.

No. It's also about the experiences we've gone through and how we bond.

I absolutely loath the friends he has now who have turned him into someone who takes lots of drugs, has piercings, and wants tattoos.

Rules and other things
(1) - Anyone can join, as long as you're gay/bi/lesbian or whatever.
(2) - No flaming.
(3) - Try not to be a prick. No one needs that.
(4) - Don't spam/contribute the conversation at hand.
(5) - To join, just ask to join and state whether you're homosexual or bisexual.

I hope this goes well. ^_^
I'm bi, by the way.

Seriously, these guys make me wonder sometimes. I know they're not the only group of guys who act like that in the world but I'm always thrown off a bit when they start talking about girls moments after groping one another. It's a wonder any of them have gotten laid.

We don't need a knife for a blood pact, the lesions from our anal sex will do the trick!

I suppose this joke is only relevant for people at my school, who were all forced to attend an AIDS Convocation where a portion of it was spend discussing anal sex.

Every year, the new Freshman class goes in, and for a few years now a game has been going on to count how many times the guy says the word "lesion". This year I think it was somewhere around forty.

In all seriousness, this guy is terrible at his job. He makes a serious, horrible disease sound funny. He's not trying to, but he does, because of how bad he is with people. I don't know why he is a paid public speaker.
