mmm, Indeed.
I'm fine with most things related to this area, but one thing I do not like is people who like having multiple sex partners and the like. I'm just an old romantic styled fool.

Considering the confusion I get with some homophobia to boot, I'm furious that it has turned into a gimmick for music artists to use and the media to spin for their own ends. I'm also angry that it is actually a trendy thing among 13-16 year old girls. It only serves to reinforce the idea that sexuality is a choice, something that has been shown time, and time, and time, and time, and time, and time again to be wrong.
This too will pass.

I hate this, it reinforces such a negative stereotypes on the homosexual/bisexual community as a whole.

Yeah, I just wanna slap the face of every idiot scene middle school girl who wants to show what an 'individual' she is.

Yeah, well, I have the same feeling for gay couples who get married right away and raise kids.
Why shouldn't promiscuous gays and bis have the same rights as the monogamous and family-oriented bunch?

Well, technically promiscuous gays and bis have the same rights as heterosexuals in that they can have promiscuous sex with whomever they wish. I'm not sure if that's what you meant by that, though. Did you mean promiscuous gays and bis getting married and raising children?

Yes, drawstrings. Wait, what drawstrings?
Prom recently happened at my school (I didn't go) and I was just wondering, for those of you who are still in highschool, are there any rules preventing same sex couples from going to prom?
I don't believe there are any at my school.

I boycotted prom because it seemed so conformist, and I did not want to go out with a girl.
Not sure if same-sex was forbidden, but it seemed that guy and girl was expected.
That and I was still in the closet back then in 2001.

They didn't really regulate who went with who at my school. There was at least one lesbian couple and another gay couple there I think. One girl wore a tux but I didn't see any men in dresses lol.
So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled.

Jack shit happened at mine. There wasn't much emphasis on people getting dates or whatever for the prom. You just went and if you had a girlfriend/boyfriend then you went with them. Strange also how my year had no actual bullying as well. You picked on someone in a joshing around way, but you never disliked that person. My year was a brilliant year. In all regards.

Needless to say, I got hammered.
This too will pass.

I don't recall any gay couples at mine. But I was too busy dying of boredom while everyone danced to top 40 songs to care about who was putting their genitals where.

One of my best friends that I had a crush on a while back came out to me as being bisexual, and also mentioned that he's felt pretty attracted to me for the last few months.
Then he got nervous and changed the subject, and nothing happened for the rest of the day. How anticlimactic. I would have said something but I honestly thought that he would be the one to do something. Bleh.

You should have asked him out, or something.

Awww...you should try asking him out. I'm sure he wants to, but he's not sure if you feel the same way about him, and doesn't want to make your friendship feel awkward.

It's kind of hard to have a relationship at our age... especially a homosexual one.

I know exactly what you mean.
I'm bisexual (you didn't mention if you were bi or gay?) and I feel that I should be submissive to men and be the exact opposite around girls. Juggling those two sides is always frustrating. I've found that even a lot of gay guys become annoyed if I act feminine though. I guess that sort of ties into the below...

In retrospect it was pretty stupid to not say anything. I expected him to act like the man though, he even mentioned that he liked shy feminine guys so that works out. If that makes any sense? Even if he did say that he had a crush on me he changed the subject pretty quickly and didn't act like it. He invited some other guys over and continued acting just like any normal straight guy.
But yeah, I'm gonna stop being a pussy and just talk to him this weekend.

Nothing wrong with wanting to be treated a certain way. It doesn't make you any more or less of a man. Check to see if your local area has any gay youth social groups, they can be a cool way to meet people. Or if you are 18, grindr or dating sites might be easier.

Depends if an orgasm or two is worth more than a friendship.

It's not quite as black and white as you put it, but I get where you're going with this.
Sometimes the relationship two friends have is too solid to change into an intimate relationship. This can result in the two of you deciding to remain friends, or having an unsuccessful relationship and ending up not liking each other at all.
However, this isn't always the case. Two friends who both really like each other that way even before they were in a relationship can end up making a relationship work, because they'd always liked each other in that way, so the relationship is made even stronger.
It all depends on your circumstances, and whether or not you can genuinely see you and your friend together.

Sure, but unless you get married and die in a nursing home together, there is going to come an awkward point in time where you break up and more than likely one person wants to remain friends but the other person doesn't, or both of you want to remain friends but you don't remember how to act that way and there is too much sexual tension. Or neither of you want to remain friends.
(none of the above scenarios occur when you stay friends and find other people to put your penises in).

I still wish I had my brother's best friend as my boyfriend - Even for only a couple of years.
Last I ever saw him was in 1999, and my brother says he's now married to a woman.
