Don't mind me, proud homosexuals, just passing through.

While I'm here I shall wish you luck with your nice little club and admit to having a few bisexual tendencies (a few man crushes, but I've yet to actually have a homosexual experience, so they might not mean much).

Keep on having pride in who you are, guys and gals.

I'm not gay or bi, but I still wonder upon this question: Are people born gay or are they influenced by environment?

Someone please reply back

Most of the times, they're born gay or bi, but I suppose enough trauma could turn someone gay/bi.

I certainly didn't chose to be bi and I doubt anything that anyone did to me turned me as such.

Hey, I was thinking the other day: How do you think your sexuality has changed you?

Would you be any different if you were straight?

This is why I rarely come out to people:

This girl I work with: Hey did you know that I'm a lesbo?

Me: Really?

Her: No... But I'm bi though.

Me: (without thinking) Me too!

Her: Really?

Me: Yeah.

Her: Really?!!

Me: Yeah...

Her: Oh my gawwwd that is sooooo cute! dfsddfsdfsdfd *squeels and won't shut up for over 10 minutes*

That really pisses me off. That's always a girl's reaction too... WHY?!! This is why I don't like coming out to people. They treat you different, even if it's not badly. She's calmed down since, but she talks to me more now :3

Ok, post your coming out experiences.

Well... When I was twelve or something, I noticed that I was more and more attracted to women than men. A year or so later (freshman in HS), after I learned that it wasn't normal for a girl to want the hoo-hah from a lady friend, I decided to keep it a secret, which of course meant that I had to tell someone. My best friend at the time asked me "Are you gay?" I didn't think I'd given any clues, but I answered pretty quickly with "Yea. I'm more than a little sure I am..."

It went well, and she didn't act surprised or anything. After the whole school knew, though, it was awkward because I was one of three in the entire school, and one was morbidly obese and the other was a total whore, so it was a pretty lonely sport there for a year or so. Everybody knew, but few actually responded negatively to me, though, just the usual brats. I am/wasn't one of those stereotypical gay girls or anything, so I guess they didn't have a lot to play on (though I got sick of being asked where my hiking boots were by the 11th grade).

Nowadays, there's almost no shock, though I've been replied to by far more bisexuals than ever before (people wanna tell people that sorta thing if the other person does first, I suppose), but I'm sure that quite a few (girls, mostly, from what I've seen) aren't really sure about what they want, and stay in the middle point for fun or from indecision. Others know they want both and stay there. Several more hang around in there for a few years and then just sorta know which they prefer.

Me, I'm not really concerned about all that, since it's really none of my business. I won't ask, nor do I really care what your mind/crotch want, sooooo, yeah.

Anyways, any other coming-out-clips?

Coming out didn't go down nearly as bad as I thought it would. I'm one of those girls that doesn't really say much and is pretty shy, so people don't really notice me much.

It got out when I dated this girl Stacy in 10th grade that I had known for about a year. We went out for about six months, but then she move to LA to live with her father. See, her parents were fighting for custody of her and her father finally won out saying that her mother was too incompetent to take care of her. And, I suppose she was. Drank a lot and went out to a lot of parties, sometimes not coming for home for days on end.

Anyways, people weren't that different. Most people avoided me just as much as they did before they knew, so all was fine. My friends were cool about it because most of them were gay or bi anyways.

My parents think I'm completly gay, but I'm only bi. They sometimes call me their "daughter." It really pisses me off. I haven't really told anyone about me going both ways except a few friends, and I"m not sure if they believe me. But I haven't told anyone that is an adult. My main fear is that, if I come out, people will tell me to go back in.

I knew someone would eventually make this thread.

For the record, I don't have to have a FAB aura to say I'm gay.

Most people on here use the FAB aura because they think it's funny, and don't realize the hidden connotations. It's easy to fly under the radar anyways. If any of you met me in real life, you'd be hard-pressed to find out if I were gay or not. If I don't need to tell anyone, I won't, and I don't think I give off any gay vibes... I'll flat-out say it here, of course, though.

Random question to the club: Do you do anything that may give away you're not straight? Obviously excluding kissing the same sex, etc.

...Uhhhh. Aside from when I get carried away just watching girls go by in public (and when I might get a little closer, or talk more than normal, to a female clerk or something), I'm not sure. My hair's kinda short, and I've had it spiky before, but never in the traditionally dyke-ish way. I'm not really femme or butch, per se, so I don't know what stereotypes I might give off. I don't even own any gaudy boots, aside from some old goth-y kicks. I'm much friendlier to girls than guys, on any level.

I sometimes stare at guys when they walk by... sometimes I make it overly obvious, like deep down i want someone to call me out on it or something. And I have a harder time controlling my reaction to guys than with girls. Though I do get the "stare at tits" syndrome occasionally. I'm just a horny bastard XD

I somewhat give it away by my attitude towards hygene and the like. i.e. The way I do my nails, the fact I want pink hair dye, the way I style my hair, etc.
