There's good and bad to it. A person can learn about love and acceptance through those religion,s or they could learn the opposite. It really depends. I don't think an entire religion should be looked down upon because of a few groups of people.

Life is meant to be ENJOYED! Humour is very important. You ever notice while watching tv or a movie, there will be a tense or sad moment followed by a more humorous one? Laughter relieves the stress that was created by the previous scene. It works that way in real life too. You ever run into someone when opening the bathroom door at school or work? Every time that has happened to me, usually the person is startled at first but then they laugh. It's necessary.
So there is nothing wrong with people taking serious issues lightly or making humorous situations out of them. It helps us deal with life.

I've been through hard shit too, but I realise the importance of being able to look at it from a less serious point of view.

Different people find humour in different things, and if you disagree with someone, I don't think it's right for you to ask them to censor themselves. Just ignore it or change your attitude. I agree to a ponit but they should of said that it was just to lighten the issue or mention that it was a joke rather then the way they had it.

A few pages ago it was about Halloween. I did see the apology. I will admit that i do not understand some peoples homour. The new way of talking i just am still learning. "Newgrounds lingo" is really new to me. So alot of what is said on this site means differant things. What you may take one way someone else takes the other way. I just cannot understand the language her. It is so Alien to me. Words that mean onething on here mean something else somewhere else. Take trolling for instance i know of it as Looking for fish with a small motor boat. Yopu guys call it attacking someone. To me that is fighting with words not trolling.

He also said "Hate gets you nowhere", which is absolutely true. For example, we can all just keep hating Hitler, but what good does it do? If you metioned someone like George Custard then i would agree. But since you used Hitler i do not see what you are saying and i do not agree plus it could be taken many ways.

Well, hate only causes stress. Stress caused by yelling at the BNP for being Nazis, comparing Griffon to Hitler, looking back on the pain and suffering Jews went through (on a comical note, yesterday someone pointed out how a year nine thought Auschwitz happened in 1994, there was no chance that it was just a handwriting problem). As I can tell you with full confidence, stress kills. I could probably go as far as to say it's one of the largest contributors to things like heart disease, heart attacks, strokes and so on, even beyond the idea of us not eating healthy (which, it is funny how the government are pulling out schemes for helping with healthy eating while bragging it's the leading contributor to things like heart disease, when it probably isn't).

So why the hell put yourself through more stress by just outright hating something that has already happened? There's enough shit happening in the present day to give any man or woman (or transgender, transsexual, third gender, etc) a heart attack or stroke before he/she is 70 without giving yourself more excuses to be stressed out like thinking about past events negatively and reacting to current problems with full out anger. I don't expect people to get to the point where they can love a homophobic person, just to drop shit that has already happened a move on. Maybe perceive current problems with not so much of a hatred of a person but a hatred of the actions as well, but that's probably a bit too far and very hypocritical on my part (I hate a lot of people, my current top of my shit-list is probably Nick Griffin).

To show you a comparison of how it would of went, just look at Afghanistan, Iraq and similar countries. I can't say Germany would be equally religious, but the country would probably cease to be a country and more of a patch of land with outlaws and anarchy. However, Hitler brought everyone together, gave people a purpose and managed to fix the severe economic problem brought about by post-World War 1 depression. Would I want it back? No. It was an extreme solution to an extreme problem and there isn't a single country in the western world that could do with that degree of solution. Especially not England. I'm currently agnostic. I sometimes get the feeling that religion may of been true at one point but due to the story being constantly changed bit by bit as each person passed it on (a bit like Chinese whispers), it grew false and filled with prejudices of normal man.

Any logical person would have figured out that no, L-C doesn't hate Jews or support Hitler. All he said was that WWII saved Germany's economy, which is what wars do. I tried to ignore the issue at first, but now I'm just sick and tired of it. You do not have the right to attack other users in this club. Anyhoo, today was "social justice day" at our school. For the past two months the social just club at our school (which I'm in) has been planning a day all about exploring and discussing social justice issues. We started out by showing some movies that the students had signed up for that relate to social just issues (ie. I Am Sam for disability, Hairspray for racism and sizism, etc.). After that they discussed them. That was the morning, and then after lunch, they all went to workshops. We had created all of the worshops and we presented them.

There was one on disability, one on white privilege, one on gender roles, and a few others. Mine was on sexuality.

Overall, it was pretty successful. It was awkward at first at the beginning of my workshop because my opening activity, I found, wasn't thought through as thoroughly as I thought it had been. But, once I got into the main part of it, it got better. We had a good discussion after it.

Planning the day was both really stressful and really fun. I think we're planning on doing it again next year.

That does sound pretty hreat. I wish there was some activity here, but the local GLBT group -- which was the first in FInland -- is these days inactive. I'd love to start some activity at the uni (ecause, hey, university), but I don't really know if there's any GLBT people there (I know one, but he's with the conservative party). I just don't really have the courage to amke too much of a spectacle of myself either, so putting up flyers or such is not entirely a good idea.

You know what, I'd say it right to your face. Why? Because I truly believe in it. Do I believe that blacks, Jews, homosexuals and other minorities deserve to die? No. If you could find anywhere I even indicated that, then go ahead. As I CLEARLY told you, the means were harsh. To kill millions due to, what we can only assume to be, a personal grudge; a personal crusade is harsh. However, as I was saying, many more probably would of died if he didn't rise to power just because the economic crash would of torn the country apart which would lead to a similar environment to what can be found in Middle Eastern countries.
