I am a piano player and it's much better for composing on than a guitar. Fuck sex appeal!

The piano is for midgets who wear top hats.

But there's more to guitar then three chord rock. You'll look like a cultured motherfucker who can play classical, acoustic, jazz fusion, rock instrumental, and more. Not saying that the piano isn't cool or anything, but guitar is better IMO.

Yeah, I agree. Piano is good for pretty much every type of music. Also, it is basically the perfect base instrument for someone who wants to get into music. I really wish I had learned piano as a kid. I'm thinking of starting piano next year (Mainly just to improve my trumpet playing).

I love the piano more than the guitar, but I'm such a poor fuck, I can only get a guitar. Still love both, though.

I wouldn't mind learning something else, too. Violin, maybe.

I'd love to learn piano. It just sounds so sexy. I was never really a fan of guitar.

the best way to get bitties is if you write a simple cliche 3 chord love song for someone. it doesnt even have to be anywhere close to creative or interesting considering we have bands like nickelback lowering the standard for musicians.

BTW i play guitar, and the truth is you only have to be mediocre or better to impress people. The truth with piano is if youre good but not AMAZING people won't give a shit.

Why not learn both? I play piano, but I want to learn Guitar. When I for my Sequencing course next year after highschool ends, I'm going to ask about learning the Guitar in my spare time.

You can play anything on any instrument.

I play the guitar. I'd love to learn piano though. The piano is the most beautiful instrument to listen to, besides violen, which I'd love to learn one day also.

The Electric Guitar sounds great.
And, if you want beautiful sounds, the Acoustic Guitar can do that.

I've been playing drums my entire life, I can play bass decently, guitar horribly (don't know ANY chords) and I can play piano decently.

Neither is better especially if you think playing an instrument is making you cool? Its what you play and if you have fun and feel it. Play the blues and throw your tech metal garbage in the trash, which wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for the blues and jazz anyway.

That's what I'm currently doing and I'm planning to stick to it until I become really good at it.

Which is why, I don't see how you could accurately put on over the other on a qualitative scale, because the possible areas of each one haven't even all been explored yet.

Guitar (Virtuoso) Piano,Bass,Cello, Violin, Banjo, Harp, Harmonica, (Good at it, as in like "lol Awesome" cool, Not like "PWNZ0RZ")
And I'm Pretty Awesome at drums, Almost just fast though, But I always keep the beat so It's ok.
