My school actually adopted the same dress code, however I'm not going to follow it. I said to other people that I wouldn't follow it, and my conscience wouldn't let me get away with not keeping my boast. Would it not be dishonorable if I were to break my promise?

The dress code in my school is not bad, but pretty shitty too. Besides, barely anybody gets in trouble in my school for wearing short shorts or spaghttie straps, but they all do it anyway.

In my school we have to wear black shoes - no trainers, black trousers (pants for Americans) that must have no logo and be entirely black, black socks that don't come past our knee, a white button down shirt which must be tucked in at all times and always have top button done up, a tie which must be done up to show no more or less than seven black stripes, a plain black jumper, and a black blazer. All year round.

At mine it was the same, but we all wore it with our own variations on things (i.e. I had an extremely outrageous cowboy belt buckle.) I'd much rather have all wearing the same thing differently rather than all wearing different things in the same way.
