Can't believe didn't think of this. Not bad at all. I'm kinda swamped w/ new idea at the moment, but if I add more turrets, this is definetely at the top of the list.

Banana Tower: to be fun, it shoots Bananas which trap enemies for a set time- makes them fall over or something i dunno.

Slow Tower: Shoots and slows down an enemy untill it is killed or makes its way to the tower.

already have snow turret.

Crystal Tower: Shoots Crystals that are so sharp they pierce any enemy and go through to hit another.

making a new turret just so its bullets will pierce through multiple units isn't unique enough. I do have some turrets taht do that, but they do other stuff as well.

Zombie Tower: Slow Shot; has a medium big radius, every enemy in its radius turns into a zombie, making them lose health and slow up.

poison spray + snow turret? nah.

Aura Tower: Different Types--- All Towers either get, Attack + Speed + radius + etc etc.

Basically like every other turret in the game?
I don't think I understand what you're saying here.

Music Tower: Shoots Musical Notes which entrance Enemies. they stop and start dancing or something, i dunno.

sonic pulse turret.

Mine Tower: Shoots a Mine that when a Enemy steps over they blow up. Shoots Rarely.

already have one. It has a maximum of 5 mines, and one explodes, it is replaced.

Random Tower: All the Towers into one; Randomly picks an Attack a Tower Has and Performs it. like the Metronome attack in pokemon.

How about a turret in which a laser beam is fired at one enemy preferably in the middle of a line of enemies. This laser is then deflected up and down the line damaging each enemy less the farther away from the enemy that was innitially hit.

You could also add perks to this turret such as it damages all but the enemy it innitially hits etc.

like it goes into the middle enemy and shoots up and down the line into all the other enemies

and this only happens when the enemy units form a line?

the chance of the enemies forming a line is approximately 1 / (10^123456789)

some TD games are ones where there is a certain path of them to go along.....you could make it so it shoots a laser to a certain number of other enemies but makes the central one stronger if you know what i meen

Orbital Turret: pulls in nearby meteroites to crush enemys.

also

Scatter Turret: It sends a pulse that can scatter the enemys off the track giving time for other turrets to shoot enemys as they try to get back on the track.

I see what you had in mind. That would have been a decent idea in the traditional TD games, where there is a predefined path.

As for the 2nd part of your post - the electricty turret does that. an electic lightning is sent to one unit, and if there are units nearby, the damage is carried on to them.

meteroites? it's an interesting idea. This is what I have in mind, tell me if this is what you envisioned:

the turret shoots some kind of bullet, let's say meteroite for now. The meteroite start spinning around the turret, and if an enemy walks by, and the meteorite hits it, then... it explodes n shit. That's not bad of an idea, might be an expansion of the mine turret, as they're kinda similar.

also

yeah pretty much thats the idea could also make it so that when the meterite explodes could shower smaller peaces to hurt enemys in the area but its up to you really ^^

idk maybe. I'm not going to think about it now. I still have about 10 more turrets that I HAVE to make, then i'll think about all the extras that caught my attention.

an early turret you could do is one that clusters some enemies together....this could be an early turret in the game because....

When they are clustered together they are much slower but much harder to kill...

you couild also make it so that u can vary how many will cluster together thus varying how slow/how strong they get

i'm sorry dude, really!
most of the good ideas have already been taken, that's why it's so hard.
For future refrence, avoid combinations like your last invention: combination of the snow turret and some other gay turret that helps the enemy xD

what about a turret that shoots an electric beam to another turret of its own kind constantly and it damages the enemy that goes thru it... you could also make it that the longer the beam is between the two turrets, the weaker it is.

thus it would damage slower emeies more and therfore would make more people use turrets to slow the enemy before hand.

that's interesting. A bit underpowered though, but I think I have something in mind. I'll post it here once it's fully developed.

what about a turret that saps an enemies energy/health and uses that energy to heal/repair turrets around it in a certain radius

turrets have no health. But here's an idea based off of yours:

sucks health. this does very little damage to the unit, but this is the turret's way of recharching. Then when the turret reaches a certain amount of 'energy', it shoots its main weapon. Some kind of energy shit or something.

idk it's a bit weird, I'll think about it.

sounds like a good idea....you could either make it so it has to suck a certian amount of health and then it shoots a beam...

OR you can tell it when to shoot and its power depends on how much health its sapped.

that is exactly what I said, sir.

You can also use household items for inspiration. I got my pos/neg magentic turrets by looking at a battery that was on my table :)

waht about a turret that has a swinging arm with a weapon on the end such as a sword or a flail that just swings around a certain radius huting enemies?
