Well, a person who commented on this piece just pointed me the forums, that which I feared to venture before, and said I should upload this piece to the Mac8 Sorrowed Tears thing. So here it is. I don't really expect much of it, it took all of 30 minutes to make so it's not that wonderful. Anywho, here t'is!

I have finished my second submission. I wrote it tonight in one straight go, and I feel as though it really came from my heart. It may not be technically impressive or even place, but it truly represents the emotions I have felt.

Wow, I just got through the list on page 7 and there's a LOT of good songs in this competition. Good luck to everyone, I think there should be a podcast or something with a collection of the best of after it's all over, that'd be sweet! Anyhow good luck!

Once upon a time, a guitar wanted to be a string quartet.
I have broken rule number 5, and LOL.

Ugh, had a little bump on the road whilst working on my second entry. The fact that I suck at strings makes matters even worse :D

By the way, when will the winners be announced? I assume it'll be around the 3rd of August?

More like between a week or two from the deadline. I'm not sure yet if I am judging, since Maestro hasn't replied, but if I do judge, I'll be done by August 1st ^_^

If I can't finish my entry in time, can I judge?

Well this is right up my alley(no duuurty thoughts)

Sucks I couldnt get started early on this or I would have definatly whipped up some fresh tunes.

I'll submit two anyways, wouldn't be a MAC without a RyeGuyHead somehow involved...

First and Foremost :
The Serpent's Sin (cant get much more somber and melancholy than that)

Second is an oldie made a few years back that is definatly worth listening to : War Blues (fits the theme of course...)

Hey, here's my second entry: Ann 2.

Let me explain myself a little - after listening some more to my first submission, I realized that it really sort of shoves the fuzzy harmony down your ear canals - so I changed it some, so that it is more subtle and overall more enjoyable. I'd like to keep my first submission as my first submission, and if you find it to be crap, then sorry for that - thanks for considering my stuff, you judges whoever that might be.

Tell me about it. I try and make a sad song, and it ends up being uplifting! What the hell!

I have the feeling that some submitters don't really understand what this contest is all about...Seriously...I have enough as it is right now.

Some people want to submit songs that are TOTALLY not fitting this contest. Do you even read the stuff MaestroRage posted on PAGE 1! or the things I type before I post a new list?

Or is it just....OMFG Lollerjoes W00T! CONTESTMONEYFRONTPAGE!

Some of you don't even put the slightest effort in a song (if you even can name it like that). Do you really think they will score well in the contest? Do you?...I mean, come on! Are you really that...stupid!?

As for me, as stated before...I have enough. It's a simple...no...a very simple task to read the things the MAC crew demands.

I've rejected and kicked of a few submissions because they simply don't fit in. I will ignore any complains regarding my decision. It's not that I'm a musician myself. I can tell what's sorrowful/sad and what's not!

If you got something to bitch, pass it to MaestroRage. If he's cool with your entry, than it shall go back on the list.
