No, I was talking to funkycaveman. You are allowed to have red blood, but if its robots or something, maybee make it bleed oil! Remember, it dosent have to be using metal textures, thats just an idea. Also, its getting kind of annoying with xXxalecxXx keep joining and dropping out.

Uhh, yeah, if you can, do the bios page aswell. And as for P1raten, your part looks alright, but looks a bit too similar to the cardboard city collab. Remember, its not required for everything to be made out of metal, but if you are doing a machine, or something mainly metal, you could make everything metal for added effect, but like in your one, the metal clouds are just stupid. Also, try and add sound effects. Also, some people seem to have forgotten. Either that or they are away, or just don't post on the forums often. Anyway, heres an update:

actually I think things look a lot better when they're uniformly one sort of texture, it sort of takes away from the texture-ness of it if there are flash colors left right and center.

plus this is the metal collab, we wouldn't want metal taking a back seat to vectors :P

just my opinion. its up to you though Mr Andy, your collab :)

yeah, I suppose so, I just didn't want it to bee too similar to the cardboard city collab. There isn't really a subject, aslong as its metal. You don't even have to use textures, you could make it 100% in flash, but try and stick to 1 style. I was just saying though, it looks a bit strange with the metal clouds and all. Anyway, remember to add sound effects to your parts, soundsnap is good for sound effects. I still haven't decided on some music, so if anyone has any good suggestions please tell (preferable on the audio portal) And I still haven't got an idea for my part, so if anyone has any good Ideas I could use, that would be great too, but I might just start animating something and then try and make something good out of it.

whatever, collabs are similar to eachother, don't worry about it! these are all for fun anyways. so seriously, dont limit yourselves to stay away from being like CBC, I dont mind and I dont really think other people do either... :P

mine is... doing mehish. i still don't have great ideas, I'm thinking of a robot that has a bomb, but doesn't know about it, so it walks into a park and explodes. or shoop da whoops attacking a metal city. which ones better?

Well, thats looking good. Although, if that person on the bench is the robot, I would make it look less human-like and more metal-coloured, but its probably just a random man isn't it? Sory about the previous link to my part, it didn't work, but Ive fixed it now. We still have room for 7 more spaces, so a few more people can join!

The robot walks in from the side, then it goes to an xray mode and shows the bomb, along with a bunch of gears and such. and yeah, the guys some random guy.

Oh right, cool. I am working on finding some sound effects for my part now. What about the length though, it is quite short, so should I make it longer?

okay, I added sound effects to my part. It would take too long to add something inbetween, but I hsve an idea for at the end instead of zooming into the sign, the ligh could explode and a load of cleaniing robots come and clean it up, whilst some others fix the sign. Remember to PM me with the .swf and the .fla when your done, or you could just PM me the .fla and post the .swf here.

okay, sorry i've been a bit inactive...my part is now about 50% done but i'm going away tomorrow for 2 weeks and i'm really busy today...so when i get back i'll get right on top of it and get it done as soon as possible so try not to get too hung up on my part untill the 11th of august
