Would that be request based, or do you just select from a list of users?

I'd add the friends list as long as the user has the ability to hide his list if they wanted to.

Tom, I've been coming to Newgrounds since the problems of today were yesterday, and All I could do while I was here was Club a Seal or Beep Jesus. And though I haven't been the most active member of NG, I wouldn't know where to start making a flash, I have watched New Grounds evolve.

MOST OF All I've watched it grow and without losing it's Identity or Soul.

I think a friends link would be great. Just keep it simple and to the point, postings and links to submisions is all you need. If you allow phots limit it to one or two, Just keep it NG.

definite yes to friends list from me. i like the idea of promoting people i have worked with or admire.

You should do a poll or something to vote for the freinds system thing, but still use the weighted votes on the polls, becuase higher level people probably would know wats best for newgrounds. then if voted on, let them vote on wat features they want so the people can decide wats right for newgrounds. i hope u at least take this idea into cosideration, and keep on improving newgrounds

Friends would be good but It should not be called 'top friends'!!!

Of COURSE do it. Right now having a friends list is just about useless. Make the feature worth something and make it easier to stay in touch and jump around.

It is a feature which is great for linking up with other users, I say go for it.

When I saw "LAST ONLINE: Online!" in your picture it gave me the idea of having this implemented into our posts, maybe under signup or next to our contact links.

I really like the idea of the friend system. Don't suppose you could give us some more info on it. Is there a limit to the number of friends you can have? Or can you have unlimited but only five names display? Wheres the website and aim link gone to? Will friends receive PM updates to news posts other friends make? Etc.

I hope this site doesn't end up like a "MySpace" or "Facebook", that would be horid! But I like the idea of the Friends list but wouldn't it just be the same as favourite artist list thou?

For the friends system, that's quite interesting idea, just make it that way that people wouldn't "abuse" it and get 200 friends in to their list a day, a limit of something like 30 people perhaps?

It's just so annoying how I get friend requests every frikkin' moment on YouTube and because I'm a lazy person, I always "accept" them, because the people who tried to become "friends" with me might get annoyed or rather pissed off.

It would be the community to decide how to use it, I would keep my list quite short and clean.

The friends list is a bad idea. As well as being too 'Myspace-esque', it would be relentlessly abused by stat whores and people would take it far too seriously. It's a no from me.

Oh, if the friends thing DID happen, I would add every single person I could find.

Oh, and while you're at it, trademark the name MyGrounds before someone else does.
