Today's $100 winner is Mr-Furball! We're giving away $100 per day from now until I leave for Comic-Con on July 20th. To participate in the raffle, all you need to do is vote on five submissions while logged in. Every day I run a raffle script based on activity from the previous day, and a winner is declared!
Regarding Comic-Con: I'll be at the Behemoth booth, promoting Castle Crashers. Jeff is working on what should be a spectacular Newgrounds poster that will also be on display at the booth! RubberNinja has been managing a list of who is showing up.
Daniel and John from Armor Games will be riding 150 miles on their bikes to raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis, as part of the Bike MS event in Southern California. Check out Dan's post for more information on how you can sponsor them (and get an NG shirt if you donate $25 or more) or join their team and ride with them! All the money goes towards fighting MS.
Corky52 is a hardcore user and has made some helpful/interesting posts. Some of these include a list of NG clubs he is a part of and a Newgrounds Exercise Program. His latest post outlines some of the guides he has written, as well as his friends and goals here on NG. It was a fun read and kinda inspiring. :)
Speaking of friends, for a long time now we've had a completed front-end of a FRIENDS system for NG. It's been sitting on the backburner, awaiting prioritization for the more complicated back-end code. I've always had my fears that people would see it as a step towards NG becoming a bunch of MySpace vomit, but overall we all like the idea of being able to link up to eachother. Right now a user page can become a bit of a dead-end, but with a friends list, there could be more paths to branch off into. What does everyone else think? Does the idea disgust you, or do you agree that at the end of the day, it would be a welcome feature?

Shout out to Dan and John for helping out: Have fun with the chaffing!
Anyways, about the whole "Friend PM" thing, I notice the "request friendship" button there, does it send a pm to your inbox notifying you that you have a request or is there some special icon that appears below your profile picture (kind of like what Myspace does)?

The friend system sounds like a great idea. I think it would really make our profiles more interesting. Sure we are getting more and more like myspace, but you gotta think, no matter what happens we're always gonna be better than them.
A question about the friend system, would it be like, you send a friend request and they have to accept it, or could you just add people to the list without them having to give you some kind of permission or another?

I am still confident I will win $100 in the next five days!!!!
A shoutout to Corky? how lucky
A friends system could be good but I really don't want to see Newgrounds turn into a MySpace type of website like you said :(. Although it would be cool, I really don't see the use of friends because everyone can comment everyone. Better hold out!

I like the idea of a friends application, as long as it's not too over the top.

While all the negative nancies would be complaining that a friends list might make this place more like MySpace, alongside with the profile video embedding, it seems nice.
Also nice to know some users getting recongnition in these posts now.

Friends system looks great, It's not too myspaceish for newgrounds, what would be shit though is "bulletins". It'd bring a whole new shitness to newgrounds. So Yeah, Do that and I'll come and shit on your faces >:(

I think the friends idea is better than the portal buddies thing. I originally thought that what it was used for until years later.

I like the idea of being able to see when people were last online, whether or not it is included as a friend feature.
I'd enjoy the friend feature if I knew for sure that I might show up on someones. Haha. :P

Seems a good idea, if done right, but that pic looks dangerously MySpace/Fackbook-esque!

Well it's a completely useless feature that mostly sounds like a complete rip-off from Myspace.
But it's fun!! So I wouldn't mind if you implemented it, I'd probably use it lots
