Don't do it please.
I believe many things, and doubt many others. But I will never try to force you to believe the things I believe or doubt the things I doubt.
Why do you feel the need to try and change people into what they aren't?
I don't really expect a well thought-out answer, I only wanted to post this so that the target public reads it, after which they can do or say whatever the fuck they want.

At least they can't execute you for it.
Well... in most places, anyway.
...also, TL;DR.

Yes, it's a sad thing to do, we all think differently on.. ANY subject really and that is isn't a big deal usually, why should religion be any different?

Don't give yourself so much credit. You didn't make me cry, you made me feel sorry for you.
If I was angry or sad or anything other than indifferent, this topic would alot more capital letters and swear words.
I just hope that if you're right, God and his little pal Jesus realise how much of a pissy little prick ypu are and send right to where you belong, that little furnace you call "hell".

Most of the time people are trying to help you in their eyes but yes people can sometimes take it the wrong way.

Agreed, some, even most of the time, these people may think they are helping or informing, and sometimes they are. But the people I'm specifically talking about here are those who sound like: "Everything you know is wrong, everything I know is right."
These are the problem.

One reason I am an atheist is because theses trolls on NG try tell me that what I believe in is wrong.
What gives them the right to dictate my beliefs. If you ask does god factor into my life at all no. The last
time I went to church was 10 years ago. If you religious trolls think by what your saying here is making
me change my stance on beliefs your terribly wrong so wrong.
Well your reading the bottom of my post. Are you bored or what?

All religions basically push themselves on you, as there's always some consiquence of not being one of them, or some reward if you are.
But by far the least pushy is Buddhism; the stealth religion.
"Anything could happen in the next half hour!"
"For the love of God, don't stop pretending you're a dragon!"

Isn't the idea that people shouldn't push their beliefs a belief in and of itself? You're pushing your belief that people shouldn't push beliefs.
Think you're pretty clever...

I think it's because the hardcore Christians feel the need to save everyone so they can go to heaven.
Sounds nice when it's all written out, but when executed, it causes so much flaming.
They think they're so much better than everyone because they read the bible daily.
You can read the bible every day of your life, and still not know what it really means.

It might be contradictary, but at least it is in a defensive way, rather than offensive.

Nah, not "might be," it is. Don't water down the point. That guy's a dick and so are you.
People shouldn't allowed to condemn an action unless they've never done it. There should be an internet law about that. We'll call it Gunter's Law and it will be forever heralded as the best thing that has ever happened to anyone...
ever.
Think you're pretty clever...
