Using this website: http://www.scorptec.com.au/
Around $1,000, go over a bit if necessary. I need everything, the big and small (right down to mouse/keyboard).
Gaming quality PC with at least 500gb HDD. 3 gig RAM and good graphics card (Heard 8800 would be sufficient for awhile though, so maybe that will do). Monitor and case can be crummy.
Thanks in advance.

the main reason for building your own pc is so that you can get exactly what you want. if you want people to build a pc for you then you should just a buy an already built one.

Really, I don't want to spend $1,000 on parts only to find it doesn't work. I'm just asking for someone to recommend me a build so I can go out, buy and put it together myself.

Then why didn't you say so before, instead of blurting out such nonsense? For a second there, I thought you wanted us to BUY you a PC.

you'd be able to build an awesome pc for way less than $1,000 too, just shop around different websites and find the cheapest, you'd be amazed how much you can save.
also, you don't want your monitor to be crummy

Go to the nearest 7-11 and buy a copy of Maximum PC magazine. Then you can know what to buy and you won't be such a PC n00b.

i'd also recommend newegg, so far hardware/pc webshops go newegg takes the cake. plus that site you gave to us didn't even had good parents, and it's ridiculously high prices.
