I was wondering if there are any free animation programs that are good to use

depends how creative you want to be.....pivot is good if you want to only make fairly bad stick movies, and i think something called LiveSwif or something is meant to be ok, and it's free....but other than that, you'd be better off getting a trial of adobe flash cs3...

Um, Adobe is a pretty major corporation, and I don't think they'd overlook something as simple as that. Plus, any decent animating program will cost money. Guess it all depends on how much you're willing to spend or how serious you are about animating.

You can install the trial once for each account. You can make one account/email address. So you can download a lot of trials.
