Man I would really love to get into making Apps for the iPhone =( It seems like a fun experience incorporating screen movement and touch screen into a game! I heard it costs like 99$ to use the SDK or somthing or other.

We had the same 'system troubles' over here in the UK as well. I'm pretty sure it happened the first time as well so they should have sorted it out by now... I reckon I'll wait until the pay-as-you-go model comes out at the end of the year. Hopefully that model will have a decent camera with Video capabilities...

You're a real humble man, Tom. Trying to please your wife and making her feel special, the world needs more men like you. Your Flash and computer skills in general, are a super added bonus, but yes, congratulations on finally getting the iPhone and don't feel bad about not being able to pay for it, you wanted to and tried, not your fault.

You could always take her out to dinner and buy her something else, possibly flowers? Flowers seem more appropriate and romantic than a piece of molded plastic and metal. I'm not a cell phone guy, nor a trendy guy so I don't see myself buying an iPhone or any cell phone at all, anytime soon.

I'll stick with mt iPod Video 5.5 which I purely bought just for the nice chunk of space on it. Alright, take care.

Yeah. Thats why i waited to get an i-phone. I figured they are gonna come out with a new one anyways and a new one was out i could get the old one cheaper. I also figured that if i have gotten the old i-phone then it would take a long time to transfer and get the new one. I still don't see what the deal was with the discount part.

I actually could get an iPhone, as my mum has said she will buy me one for Christmas. Down side is, I'd have to pay the monthly bill of £30, and I wouldn't be allowed to take it to school. So I'm sticking with my shitty old w810i :).

I don't think I'll be getting an iPhone. They seem to be more trouble than their worth and Apple has a bad habit of making better versions of everything very early. If I do end up getting one, I'll wait till the end of the month and get the 32G model (haha..).

My next phone won't be until my 3 year contract is up (about 2.5 years left on it) so I really don't know what my next phone will be. Seeing the competition for the iPhone quickly spring up, I imagine there will be something significantly better by then.

Jesus, all that to get an i-Phone? Must've had a busy day eh Tom? Well I'll stick to my cheap ass cell phone for now. Still a cheap bastard to afford a new phone :P
