You can also write Congress to ask them to pass the Video Games Rating Enforcement Act which will give teeth to the current ratings system.

Thats so fucking stupid. If a kid walks into a game store and asks for GTA4 the clerk will say "Do you have an adult with you?" If its a no, the kid has to leave. If its a yes, the Adult walks up, shows ID, and the clerk reads the rating and the reasons for the rating. The adult then has the choice of letting the kid get it or not. then they get the VG if the adult says yes. Those parents are a bunch of fat chicks on their periods.

Yeah most of the time the stores id you, and if they don't its probably when you're 15 or 16 and look 17, not 10 or some shit. This is why there is an esrb. Read the damn rating before you buy it for a kid. I also heard about someone who was trying to say you needed to drive drunk to complete the game, and you get points for it. That was really stupid since you never have to get drunk in the game, and when you drive drunk its really hard, the cops know as soon as they see you, and you can just take a taxi or wait til you sober up anyway.
