Simple question, does this seem like a good master list for PS2 games I should eventually buy?

Any, of course, I also must ask, what can I add on to this to make it even sweeter?

How about Grand Theft Auto San Andreas? The second latest of the series and still considered to be the best by some. Also, Star Wars Battlefront 2. And the first which I presonally thought had better levels but doesn't have playable jedi.

I already have San Andreas for the X-Box, otherwise I'd buy that over Vice City.

I'll add SW Battlefront 2 to the list, I have the first one (bargain bin deal, why the hell not?) and I love getting 80 kills per game on a certain map.

Are you kidding me? I like it more than Vice City. Well I had the game but now I have the Scholarship edition for Wii with a bunch of extra stuff and it's one of my top Wii games.

I'd add Tony Hawk Underground 2 (my most addictive game, played it online FOREVER), Downhill Domination, Viewtiful Joe 2, and We Love Katamari.... they should all be at bargain bin prices now, and are still great games.

That list looks pretty great. some of the games I haven't played and as such I can't vouch for them, but I've played most of them and you list kicks ass. But I would add;
Devil May Cry 1. Great game, comparable to the third.
The Jak and Daxter series. get all three. If you like racing with a challenge, get Jak X as well.

Hey, I think you left Red Faction off that list, you should probably make sure it gets on there.

The graphics may seem a little.. repulsive, possibly, but it has:
*Geo-mod: I believe the first game ever with un-scripted destructible environments.
*A decent story: Not the best, but it's entertaining.
*Awesome guns and lots of variety in battles: Underwater battles in submarines; battles with a fish.. while not in a submarine; dark places with gremlins; battles with giant mining robots; choppah's... fun stuff.

Yeah seems like a good list to me, I'd keep THUG1 instead of THUG2. I always preferred the first one in terms of levels and storylines, the only thing it lacks is the playable characters.
