Woah! Congrats! A swell user indeed :3
I saw Wall-E last night and it was really great. In honor of this cautionary tale, everyone should go read all the articles on EcoGeek. It's a fun website that I browse on a regular basis and it consistently highlights cool new technologies before I see them anywhere else.
I still haven't seen that movie... I haven't gone out to the movie in ages... bah, I love Pixar, I'm a failure :(
That's a cool site, and for a good cause as well :)
Also check out these upcoming solar panel windows from MIT! I heard how the upcoming Prius was gonna have a solar panel on the roof and Tim complained that he wouldn't want to give up his sun roof... Eventually we could have the best of both!
Tim's solar panel would be covered in mud all the time and probably wouldn't work... I was just talking about solar panels on housing last week, it's really the way to go. I hate how our nation won't let us just, switch over... everything has to be forced. Have you seen that documentary on "Who Killed the Electric Car"? Man, watching that thing sure got me angry :X
On the topic of feel good do-goodery, if you want to be a better person than your friends, you can adopt a Kona bike. These bikes are donated to health care workers in Africa to aid in the delivery of ARC drugs to HID/AIDS patients. I thought there was a way you could buy your own Kona bike (with proceeds going towards bike donation), but I don't see a place to do that. But I thought I'd throw it out there.
mmhmm, bikes, got it.
That's all I got today.
I told Wade to IM you to put a plug to yesterday's topic so that the ideas would keep coming in *cough cough* seeing as how once you make a new thread, the old news posts really slow down. I was really liking all the poster ideas that were coming in :/ If you can edit posts, I think you should consider it ;3
