My friend wants me to try fiery shots of jack danils but i only have regular shot glasses, do i need special glasses for makeing flameing drinks?
im just a little scared of fire and glasses of fire shattering all over me when i pick them up...

just use glass ones, not the plastic kind... also fireproof shot glasses dont exist

As people have said, regular glass shotglasses will suffice for doing flaming shots.
Just make sure, you know, that the glass and alcohol have sufficiently cooled. I didn't, and I got hot sambuka all over myself, and a pretty bad burn on my lips.
you do know that glass is a liquid? so it cant melt with normal fire, it would require something very hot.

thats even less probable unless the glass is chilled for about 20 minutes where the fire touches.

If you're stupid enough to guzzle firey alcohol, the last thing you should be worrying about is fireproof shot glasses.

I once did a shot of bacardi 151 that was still burning (after about 6 other shots) and almost lit myself on fire. Good times.
