The trailer makes the movie look awesome. I never finished the original Max Payne video game, because I didn't care to buy it and only ever installed the demo on my computer. It was pretty awesome though, so if they're altering the story-line beyond what most find acceptable, I suppose I can see why you guys'd be upset.

And also, to the mention of the angel-type creatures being Valkyries is... not from the game. The game featured a drug called Valkyr, not actual Valkyries. It better be part of some form of either oh-no-i-lost-my-family-and-i'm-on-the-ed ge hallucination or a valkyr-induced one, or I won't be happy.
The winged creatures don't appear to be ACTUALLY there. Y'know? The cool slow-motion sequence where the man is being pushed/falling/being pulled out the window makes you suspicious that the creature is just conveniently there during the scene. It's later confirmed with the scene where an explosive shockwave causes the windows to shatter, but simultaneously you see one of those creatures flapping its wings and then disappearing before the falling glass.
Odds are, the creatures are hallucinations.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about this movie and consulted the search bar to do so. M3M's name made me bump this thread above all the others.
