The Halo movie is going to happen. The Director is Peter Jackson who is a New Zealand (New Zealand is to the bottom right of Australia) A few months ago there was a fair or exhibition or whatever called Armageddon. It's every April in Wellington, New Zealand. At the armageddon they have famous anime stars and gaming and competitions such as the kamehameha contest. Anyway, at the armageddon this year was the actor from the movie who plays Masterchief plus a working model of the warthog, the actual one they are using in the movie. The actor said it is happening. Also it was in the Newspaper last year that it is still happening and it will be released early 2009.
Peter Jackson is the director of Lord of the rings and King Kong. So anyway yes the Movie will happen you guys are just in the wrong country to know for sure. Also because its being made in New Zealand we're gonna see it a few months before you haha!

I sure hope they don't, unless they completely rewrite all of the script, story, dialogue and characters. The story for Halo is terrible and barely makes any sense at all, it's like they've just made it up as they went along. The main character MC is meant to be this hard, tough character, but he's an idiot that does whatever he's told, decides nothing for himself and is portrayed as this ridiculous Superman character that's EXTREME for the kids.
I'd rather see a Red Faction movie.
Oh wait they did, it's called Total Recall.
If it's cancelled, just wait until Oovah Bawl takes the rights..

If you actually pay attention and watch the cutscenes, halo has a pretty decent and intricate story.
