So, Iran has tested some nukes a day or two ago. What does this means for Iran's future and the Middle east in general, the world's current state of affairs, and the Global Economy?

They didn't test nukes, they are testing firing missiles. Right now them and Israel are showing off what their military is capable of to scare each other. It's sort of a small scale cold war I guess.

No, they did not.
They tested long-range missiles, which have a range of about 2,100 km. (1,300 mi)
I bet Israel isn't happy, but this isn't a direct threat to the United States.

WHAT? How is this not a direct threat to the United States? Do you think Iran is going to call it a day and say these missles are good enough? They are only going to experiment with and create bigger and badder missles that can reach farther faster. Pair that with all the nuclear experimentation theyve been doing for "Energy" of course even though their country has no need for the kind of energy nuke plants puput out. This iran stuff scares me man. Give it a couple of years and we may have another world war on our hands. Maybe im paraoid. Maybe im not.

The missiles don't have sufficient range to reach. Not a direct threat.

And then what are they going to do? Try to win a nuclear war against the United States? I doubt it.

What? What does that even mean? Every country uses enough power for at least one nuclear power plant. They're not magical super-energy machines that make so much energy that it takes a hundred million people to use it.

I really hope you are not ignorant enough to compare Iraq to any other threat to our country. Just because we made a mistake with Iraq doesn't mean we can take threats any lighter now. The EU has imposed sanctions on Iran and we know they have a Chem/Bio program. Iran has an extremely dedicated military, and has already said they will occupy the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, where 40% of the worlds oil in sent through. And Iran already poses a direct threat to our troops in the middle east. And if we don't take action now, it doesn't have to be military yet, but some kind of action to keep Iran in check, the better off we will be.
Are they a threat to the US soil? No. They can still do a lot of damage to us without ever getting near our borders.

Fucking idiot, it would not be cost effective to invade a country for oil. We never did invade Iraq for oil, anyone who thinks that is ignorant of the costs of invading a country.

not completely, though they did alter a picture to make it look like all four missiles fired instead of just three.

don't worry about it, Israël is gonna invade in not too long, that's what they always do, as soon as an arabic country looks mean to them (which they all do at a time or another) they invade, clean up the place and leave, its no threat at all for the US, just sit back and watch Israël go at it again.
Iran aint gonna try anything, Israël has BIG influence in every single western country.

agreed. we need to do something, but we don't wanna do something too big. while Iraq itself isn't a threat, we really don'r wanna piss off any of it's friends; such as north korea, I mean we JUST got them to start disarming their nuclear program. we also don't want to take the chance that treating Iran harshly will add too our problems in the so-called war on terror. I suggest high tax prices on goods coming from and going into Iran, rather than a full-on sanction. it's less public, so it might be a little better
