Sorry, if there already is a topic for this, but I checked the last 3 pages and didn't see one.
• This is such an easy, broad topic! let's do eet! Ok, I'll list the 9 major candidates, alphabetical order:
Carol Mosely Braun
Wesley Clark
Howard Dean
John Edwards
Richard Gephardt
John Kerry
Dennis Kucinich
Joseph Lieberman
Al Sharpton
And, well.. There's always Bush..

Myself, I'm fully behind Kucinich and his platform. He's been against the war in Iraq the entire time, he supports a single-payer healthcare system, wants to decrease the pentagon's budget (including scrapping the asinine missile defense system), a cabinet level Department of Peace, etc. etc.
Plus he's a vegan! haha. I was a registered Green, until I re-registered to vote in this primary.
But Carol Moseley Braun and Al Sharpton also have very good views and platforms.
Why is it my top 3 choices are at the bottom of all the polls? nevermind..

Braun and Sharpton will not be elected. They are there for window dressing. And Sharpton is a racist.

(I know, I know, i used the insert pic. thing in those two posts, sorry.)
Sharpton has said, basically my understanding is, that one main reason for his running is to raise interest and get people who are disenfranchised back to the polls. He's said he'll still strongly support who ever who gets the nomination.
When I first heard he was running, I didn't expect much. But, without looking too closely at them, a lot of his plans make sense, at least on paper.

what is the point of voting. it doesnt matter what we say. i say make it a popular vote and then maybe ill pick someone. but until that happens i think all candidates suck.

OK, voting does make a difference, elections can be won or lost with only afew thousand or even hundred votes. Im personally behind Weslye Clark (although IM not American). The best person to run against Bush I think would be Oprha, then BUsh could pay a visit to Dr PHil to get his head examined.

I supported Dean till he went crazy, now I'm with Kerry
I was actually kind of rooting for Edwards. Sure I didn't really agree with him that much, but damn that man is sexy.

Thank god we've had people like PruneTracy and Burning_Liberal(or whatever his name is now). I'd like to take this time to say one thing to the Bush fans out there.

Hey, don't take it the wrong way. I'm still not voting for him.
Come on! Lets see some more Dean supporters come here and fess-up, so that this has a point... why Bakshi, why.

I was supporting Wesley Clark and Howard dean.
THat was the dream team
Dean '04
Clark
I liked them. Dean seemed a bit more down to earth and alot more honest than the rest. I guess Clark was more critical of things going on and seemed to side with me on foreign matters.
oh well. IM all behind JOhn/JOhn this election.

I liked Dean. Not from a political standpoint, but from a comedian's standpoint. That guy was funny! That whole I have a Scream speech made me cry I was laughing so hard. It's too bad he was rather calm at the Democratic National Convention.

Dean was never one of my favorites. Something about him scared me.

Yeah, I guess Dean did sort of seem like an average guy... But I still think the main reason people liked him was his critique of the war in Iraq. He was the only one who was truly openly against it at the time, and people like that. People still thought that if you were against Bush you were against the soldiers.
"Support our troops, not our bush" I say.
