The Wii controls don't come close to how poor the N64 controls feel nowadays. I actually prefer Wii controls for FPS if they're done right.
It's a shame Nintendo and Microsoft can't cut a deal on this one. Updated graphics and controls would allow everyone to feel the nostalgia while playing a game relevant in the modern gaming era.
Anyone who's played the game in the past year, you have to admit that the control scheme just doesn't feel good. It was fine at the time, since it was all that was really possible with the single analogue controller, but only have one analogue stick just doesn't work. Aiming is kind of non-existant. You just kind of try and point your gun somewhere near the guy and let sticky aim take affect. You can press R, but then you can't move. Update the graphics (which Rare did according to the screenshots that popped up awhile ago) and let us play with an Xbox controller or a Wiimote and the game would be awesome. Then consider the possibilities with online multiplayer. That would be amazing.
