Sorry man relatively old news, i saw it on CNN like 3-5 days ago...was pretty funny. There was another one on CNN's daily dumb a long time ago about a guy who bought about 5,000 gallons of gas around 2 years ago when gas was like 2 bucks a gallon and kept it in a air condition room in his house,

they did a follow up a month ago and he said once gas went to 4.50$ he's selling it all and Ethanol be Damned. He bought his gas before ethanol was a mandatory additive to it thanks to good old Dubyah.

It's a pity that gasoline expires after a year... Unless he put preservative in it of course, but that lowers the rating...

Currently in the UK, Petrol is £1.19 per litre (Diesel is £1.31) this equates to roughly $2.40 ($2.62) as the dollar is currently worth 50p i.e. £1 = $2.
From what i can see, America has cheaper fuel. So does France. In an article in a newspaper a while ago, it highlighted the fact that petrol in France is (was) the equivilant to 65p a Litre whilst it was about 97p in the UK. This is due to the high amount of tax on UK fuel.
In my opinion, approx. 30-40p could be cut off UK fuel prices if the government removed the fuel tax. Then again, other things would suffer as the government gets billions from fuel taxation.

Just shows how desperate people are getting. I recently had a discussion with BonusStage and my father about how my dad used to drive around for hours just to drive. It sounded incredibly fun, honestly. I wish people nowadays could do things like that. But that's impossible with gas prices today :/ Sad stuff, sad sad stuff.
