Reading through comments posted on a political website, I happened across this gem:
"Do we really know the TRUTH about either of them? More people should know that:
John McCain was never a POW. He crashed his plane in Laos and spent 5 years AWOL in Bangkok losing it on drugs & hookers. The rest was a CIA cover-up.
Barack and Michele Obama monopolize the Chicago cocaine and heroin trade. Cindy McCain distributes their products hidden in beer bottles throughout the southwest.
Obama is John McCain's illegitimate son by Ella Fitzgerald.
They are all in business together."
Apalling.

I think it's making its way across the comment sections of Politico. Or perhaps it's the Washington Post's website.

My government and history professor are kind of liberal but they made the class fun, they're also on the middle as well so it helped.

This actually sounds alot like Alex Jones and those who follow the Bildeberg Group. These conspiracy theorists think that the American two-party system is a ploy to make the electorate think they have a choice.
But you know what? The more I think about all the conspiracies I've read or followed (or even created to throw ppl off the Masonic trail..j/k)...one of the common lines of thought is that the Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin.
There may be a left/right bias...but not a partisan one.

No, you don't understand, links or it didn't happen. You're acting like the Daily Mail, you are trying to whip up a frenzy over a quote that may be taken out of context or may not even exist.
I'm not trauling the web just on your say so.

I like how you bashed liberalism as somehow making education poorer in our nation.
I liked it because the statement has no backing at all.
In 2000 all the states that voted liberal had average IQs vastly greater than conservative voting states, they had higher reading and math scores, and a higher percentage of voters had a post-graduate degree. But I guess they're dumb because Fox news told you so, or something along those lines.

Well, considering the fact that I found that comment over a month ago on July 8 as the first post timestamp indicates, I'd say it likely won't be easy to find. It's impossible to link to a comment on Politico and the Washington Post, anyways, because every article on those sites gets hundreds upon hundreds of comments, 95% of them Copy+Pasted partisan ranting, and the other 5% is insane conspiracy theorists.
I think you probably don't understand that I'm not going to traul the web to link you to a page of five hundred comments, in order for you to sift through and find one of them, which may not even exist anymore, because -- like Newgrounds -- these forums have moderators.
There are probably crazier ideas out there, and you'll no doubt run across a few if you spend some time reading responses to articles on those news websites.

Fine by me. The more conspiracies show up against McCain & Obama, the stronger Barr becomes as a candidate. It's not how I want Barr to win, but if it works, don't try to fix it. The first libertarian president is just around the corner, America!
