PMing Staff and Mods

[Insanimation]

Many a time have I sent a Private Message (PM) to a member of Newgrounds staff, or one of the mods, and, guess what? They DON'T reply! So I thought I'd help out Newgrounders by starting a thread with my experiences of PMing these people. Feel free to add.

Add more to save contributory Newgrounds members the trouble of waiting for a reply from someone who isnt gonna give one.

Ive had a few odd PMs from people, of which Ive plainly ignored.

Fun fact: These people are well known and probably get pms by the barrelfull. If they don't reply, it's either because your message sucks or they had no reason to reply.

i kno you haven't got to reply, and im not saying that they should, just that if somebody wants to ask a mod a question, they can know that asking x isnt gonna get them an answer...

Not really, it depends on the importance of the PM. At least in my case it is.

No, this isn't to rub it in or anything. The OP wanted others to share, so I did. This is the only relevant case in which a member of the Staff responded to something.

so there have been 2 instances on this that Tom replied, so that's one on the Staff list,as a YES, and Krinkels goes on the Alos worth noting list, as a YES

It's also worth noting it once took Tom a few months before replying to a certain pm.

The only time I've felt the need to PM a staff member was when I wanted a :3 smiley face.

Tom replied, agreed that it would be a pretty good idea, and then nothing ever happened. ;__;

I PM all the staff everyday telling them that I love them. They never respond.

Usually they only PM you back if the title has something important in it, and so does the contents of your message. It's actually pretty easy to get a reply from a moderator.

- My friend asks me to ask a moderator(prefferably Zerok) if he can make a thread about something, that he is not sure people would like or not.

- A couple of more PMs are sent from me and him about why doesn't the friend does it himself?
- I end up Messaging Zerok.
- Zerok REPLIES kindly and says yes.
- My friend later found out it was a fake event... Scam. :(

But really, that shows that Zerok did reply, because it was a request that had something to do with them, and the BBS.

Looking through my PMs, it appears that there are very few PMs I have sent without having received one first. Which is good for my ego.
