It's a self help book in disguise where the secret is something along the lines of, if you truly believe you can do something and put in the effort to make it happen it will happen.

The chaser did a skit on it where they believed that they could make the other cars in the carpark disappear by driving into their occupied spots, many cars were rear ended.

It sounds like a totally stupid concept, developed to make the author money more than reveal any serious self-help "secret".
All the book is doing is playing on people's curiosity by having a book with an intriguing title (A secret? I wonder what amazing secret, which was known by many greats such as Galileo could possibly be?), and nondescript illustration and blurb.
I mean, what even is the secret? You can do anything you put your mind to? That's a fucking secret now? That's how da Vinci did everything he did?

It's a stupid book for stupid people. There's some truth to it, but the book dumbs it down immensely. You're not going to get any secret knowledge with such a mainstream book. I mean, this shit was on Oprah Winfrey.

The book gives you examples of using the secret, like the author of the book herself improved here vision by just thinking on it, loss weight, even was some pilot which crashed, and the doctors at the hospital said he won't be walking, breathing by himself, eat or drink any more, only with some machines , but by using the secret he walked out of the hospital by himself.

Bu using it you can get a house you dream about, a car, money, relationship and more!

Well, I understand where you are coming from, but authors don't make a lot of money unless you get a bunch of boring-simple-trended books and get them turned into movies, and then say later that the head wizard is gay but that is irrelevant so people buy more of your books to look for proof.
