That's when we learned it was coming Holiday this year. The game isn't even on handhelds, it's for multiplatform even.

Why do I have the feeling they're going to rush it like a motherfucker?

I think the later is more likely, but you never know. This game actually looks really fun, but I'm still worried.

I saw a gameplay video and it actually looked not too bad. If the whole game is speeding through an entire level (which is what I saw) then its perfect because thats how u play sonic dammit :P

The leaks had the levels and HUD already designed, and the game appeared to be working at the moment.

I really hope that this game is good. I want to see this series come back with a good game for once.

This game is going to suck.
There has yet to be one great Sonic game on a home console in the last 9 years (Sonic Adventure 1 for the Dreamcast), an amazing Sonic game for a HC since Sonic 3, and a masterpiece beyond almost all games since Sonic 2. Really, it's sad to say, but the series has gone downhill since Sonic 1 and 2.

Also, I should note that on the other hand, the Sonic games for the GBA, PSP and DS have fucking rocked. Those games, though not quite up to the level of Sonic 1, 2, and to a lesser extent, 3, still have been vastly better than anything other Sonic game Sega has thrown at us in the last 15 years.

Sorry, I meant to note that there hasn't been a good Sonic game in the last nine years since Sonic Adventure 1 came out for the Dreamcast, but I guess (like Sega) I rushed out my post. :<

You don't know the half of it. In Sonic and the Secret Rings for wii, half the time you will have to stop completly, so you can jump over some spikes, or a gap. Plus, some of the level ideas are gay. "Don't collect a single coin" or "don't get hit even once". Come on. The game was like Mario Sunshine, good, but it should have involved new characters, instead of re-using already known characters. Sonic is for speed, not making complete full stops more than 10 times during a 3 minute level.

Uh correction my friend SEGA said that they will release it in November 11, not sure but thats what I heard from the rest in internet, if i'm wrong check it in IGN or GAMEFAQS to know the release date of the game, about the rush thing of there work in the game, they probably work on it from the begining when the release sonic the hedgehog for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
