I totally forgot that yesterday, July 6th, was NG's 13th birthday! That would have been a good topic for the daily post!

Also worth noting is that September 17th will be the 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the newgrounds.com domain name. Prior to that, the site existed as an amalgamation of free ISP and Drexel web space.

If you're curious about what NG has been through over the past 13 years, check out the history page or the Flash Portal history. I really need update the history page, considering it ends in 2006.

The latest addition to NG's history was the FOURTH ANNUAL MOD MEAT, which took place two weekends ago. Luis has prepared a four page mod meat blowout that you can check out if you want to see a bunch of pictures of us sitting around and drinking.

Today's $100 winner is emiolo! We're giving away $100 per day from now until I leave for Comic-Con on July 20th. To participate in the raffle, all you need to do is vote on five submissions while logged in. Every day I run a raffle script based on activity from the previous day, and a winner is declared! I can't believe Comic-Con is less than two weeks away...

Monster's Dream just entered the Portal this morning and it's worth checking out.
