Bad End = Best End (wall-e Spoilers

[General-Ivan]

Wall-E doesn't regain his memory of Eve and continues to clean up the ruins of Earth for many centuries. Despite this, Eve never leaves Wall-E's side and takes care of him as he did her while she was analyzing the plant specimen. Hundreds of years pass as Wall-E dutifully compacts trash while Eve plays music and dances and tries to get him to remember her. Eventually Wall-E's treads wear down and there are no more replacements. Another dust storm comes but this time they make no attempt to avoid it. Hand in hand, their circuits flicker out.

This ending would have had made Wall-E blow my fucking mind with awesome and manly tears.
