They were the first band to be called emo but the word has evolved.

I have a confession to make guys... I don't like MCR. In fact, I can hardly stand them. I'm so sorry.

They're okay. I like a few of their songs.

They have a few good songs, I don't really listen all that much though.

I like there old stuff better, more hardcore post metal then whatever the black parade is classified as. There new album should be better though.

Hell, they aren't half bad. Many of my friends obssess over them. Personally I prefer Hawthorne Heights or Stutterfly, but it's cool.

I remember when I went to a Circle Jerks show a few months ago there was a girl there just standing in the back wearing a My Chemical Romance t-shirt. She didn't know any of the songs she was just standing there in the back doing nothing the only reason she went was because she had no idea that Circle Jerks are actually punk and not the same as My Chemical Romance.

Anyway people from the circle pit just kept going out of their way and flying out and hitting her and screaming 'GET THE FUCK OUT WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN HERE' until she and the two guys that she was with that no joke, WENT INTO THE GIRLS BATHROOM to put on makeup before the show started finally just left.

I don't consider it mean they weren't enjoying the music anyway they were just ruining it for everyone else.

That being said I've never been a fan of My Chemical Romance, it's not that they are really that bad, it's just not my type of music.

I thought My Chemical Romance was gonna be awesome after Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was a classic. But IMO the Black Parade is just shit and My Chemical Romance went gay idk if they went more like emo or whatever happened they are super gay now. Its amazing how they went from Super awesome to Super Gay. I still listen to 3CFSR from time to time. Great album. I wish they could've kept it up.
