Who are we to judge which creature deserves to live over another? If we accept that these creatures have feelings and don't deserve to suffer then what about fish, or insects, or plants? I don't see where it will end, but playing God and saying this animal deserves to live but this one doesn't usually just because one's bigger or cuter isn't right to me.

Well I don't kill bugs, so you're preaching to the wrong choir. I feel just as much shame for accidently killing an ant then I would if I killed a cat or dog. Yeah some of us are good and stick to what we mean.

Hold it. We, as humans, attach values to different animals. In no way do ants help us, we kill them because they are pests, and thus harmful to us. Now, animals that are helpful to us, like those with fur, we are inclined to like, thus wishing them a painless death. In iraq, dogs are killed due to being pests to them. We are sickened by how animals that provide us with something, like fur, are being cruelly killed. We like most animals due to what they provide us with, and thats a fact.
