I've been thinking alot about the possibility of the wold ending in 2012...And, I'm not sure...But I'm kind of hoping that it happens.
Just, the thought of the world ending, and everyone going down at the same time. It seems a little better than a few people living, or continuing life. Maybe it's just something to look forward to? I don't know.
Does it seem kind of weird?

No it doesn't. It seems a little bit better if everyone dies at once. But it's not going to happen.

Nah that doesn't sound weird, I think about that all the time. Would it be such a bad thing to die young rather than of old age?

I don't think the world in general is going to end in 2012.
Rather, I believe that something major will happen that will shift the world's mindset. Think of it as a second Enlightenment, but more modern and just awesome.
The world as WE know it will end, but in its place a new world will begin.

Also, no. It doesn't sound weird. It's the same kind of mindset of people who actively look for ghosts or aliens or any other paranormal event. It scares them but they want to see it.

I hope SOMETHING happens. Like, maybe, all of the volcanoes in the world erupt, or maybe the computer network system short circuits or something.
I want something epic to happen.

I don't look for Aliens or Ghost, I don't believe in that stuff. I just kind of hope that the World ens. I'd like it for everyone to die forever, in one big spectacle.
Like, a huge explosion, or, poison gases.

Screw that, I would only be in my 20's by then and I'd have a lot more living to do.
Then again I am not religious and this date comes from the bible supposedly so there goes that theory.

Actually, from what I know, the Mayan Civilization predicted this, or something.
I'm not even sure what this theory spawned from, anyone want to tell me?

The bible said that no one could ever predict when the world would end.
And 2012 the myans just said something major would happen that would change earth, the world wouldn't end though. =\

The BBS mods are going to be so pissed when there's a million "Omg why didn't the world end" threads all over.
Seriously, 2012 sounds way too overhyped.
Nothing here anymore.

I'm not saying you do. I'm just saying that curiousity and fear can go hand in hand.

Make sure you rape all the girls (or guys) you've ever had a crush on a day before 2012. If the world ends... then you totally win.
If not... then you might be a daddy :|

Just, it could be the Earth's way of ridding itself of anomalys. A.K.A, us.
We've fucked this place up alot, so maybe it's trying to rid itself of us?
Similar to The Happening, with less movie effects.

After today I have no faith left in humanity. I would love nothing more if every last one of us got what they deserve. Do we really deserve life if all most plan to use it for is to fuck over as many people possible before death?
I really did have a bad day....

Don't care.
It just seems to me that most people deserve death.
I love Humanity, it's people I hate.

He kinda has a point. After I read the book The Road I was like holy shit that would suck. Especially after the part where the pregnant lady cooks the baby to eat it....
