Yeah, I can confirm it. I blew the whistle on one movie way back when because I honestly thought it was stolen, and years later it's still stuck on broke.

There are two reasons why your whistle would still be at silver rather than having moved in either direction. Firstly, those level codes are not abusive in the slightest. Just because they look like random gibberish that will not aid the author in the slightest does not make them worthy or the title of abuse, so there was never any chance of you getting a single point therefrom. To be honest, I'm actually somewhat surprised that you were not penalised for having actually attempted to gain points therefrom. The only explanation herefor that comes to mind is that whoever cleared those flags was in a charitable mood that day and decided to clear them without penalty. My advice to you would be to consider yourself lucky and move on.

Well your rarely wrong perceptor, but I do have to say that you are wrong this time. All of those reviews were found abusive and were deleted for one reason. The author put in his author comments please do not put level codes in your reviews. Page after page was still nothing but level codes. I marked all of them and all of them were deleted. It wasn't even too riskful marking them either as I was talking to bluehippo over AIM and he said they were abusive.

Actually those markings got me out of garbage and into normal when I thought it was impossible. I guess I'm proof that the whistle system does work fine.

I'm guessing that the reason I thought such "reviews", if that's the right word therefor, were abusive was due to some past experience with similar cases when I was working on getting up to Deity. My own personal inclination in this matter would have been to mark them simply as useless seeing as they don't offer any feedback to the author. However, seeing as I don't have a golden aura behind my icon, and never will, I have no say in the matter.

I totally agree with you that it should of been marked as abusive, but when a review mod tells me to mark them then I'm going to mark them.

The only difference between these reviews with codes and other ones is that the author personally asked for no codes in the reviews because they didn't work that way.
