Happy 4th of July! At least for those of us in the US.

Today's $100 winner is pballa123! We're giving away $100 per day from now until I leave for Comic-Con on July 20th. To participate in the raffle, all you need to do is vote on five submissions while logged in. Every day I run a raffle script based on activity from the previous day, and a winner is declared!

In community news: Luis interviewed LazyMuffin about his Nameless series and general trends in the Flash scene. Maybe we'll cover some of those topics in a future daily post. Speaking of which, the Metal Gear Collab, to my knowledge, is moving smoothly at the moment. Stamper is in his fortress of solitude (home) trying to make it all work.

So I mentioned we were gonna try to save a life today...

Michelle is a friend of a friend who has Leukemia and less than a month to find a matching donor for a bone marrow translplant. Her friends have set up a website at projectmichelle.com.

To join the registry of donors, all that is required is a cotton swab of the mouth. You can learn more here.

Once you're in the registry, you may get other opportunities to save lives. The final decision is totally up to you, but it doesn't hurt to know who you might be able to save!

I was under the impression that NG Mag was being neglected way before the redesign. I did laugh at the picture of the people looking up in the sky as if they were out to make a difference though. Just seemed to be your stereotypical college brochure picture.
