Lets look at this console war

Ok, so the console war is pretty much about which console is better and which console will come out on top.

Well honestly, it really doesnt matter. No matter which console you bought, it was a good investment if your at least fairly happy with it as it is. Neither console will fail. They are just going to get better.

There is no point in being a fanboy, you honestly gain nothing out of the console you bought winning the console war. You certainly don't get bragging rights. Because well.. you didn't do anything.

Now lets look at which console is truly better.

Let's start with hardware.
PS3 has the best hardware there is. And for what you get, it's decently priced.
You get bluray (which is a good arguement to give your parents when you want a PS3, just tell them it's the cheapest BluRay player there is)
You get the Cell Processor, which is highly innovative and very powerful.
And you can put a harddrive that's as big as 750Gb in it.

Games:
I would really call this a tie between the two systems.
They both have great games out. And they both have great games on the way.
It really depends on what you prefer. I like first person shooters.
But Halo is a bit more on a arcade style FPS. Whereas killzone is more realistic.
I prefer the realistic type more. (Dont get me wrong. Halo is one of the best games ever made, and im sure plenty of people prefer arcade style games than more realistic ones. At one time i did.. and with some genre's of games i still do.)

So overall with games, it's a tie.

Online:
Xbox wins.
Im not going to argue with it just like you shouldnt argue with the PS3 having better hardware.
I will say that with recent updates the PS3 online play is becoming pretty similar to XBox Live.
But I will say that Xbox wins.

So.. overall, which system is better?

Neither.

They are both great consoles. I prefer the PS3 myself. My friends prefer the 360.

Be happy with what you got and dont worry about what other people have.

I see you kinda left out the wii, it has online gameplay too. Its just a thorn in the balls to get it hooked up with the wifi shit. I think that even though it doesnt matter on what console u have, I say that the best console on the market right now is the 360

PC is probably the best, but only if you have a decent one with a good graphics card, OS, Decent amount of RAM and a good processor + a big HD to store everything

But if i were to choose my favourite it would be PS3

I originally planned on including the wii, but it's way to different to compare to the 360 and PS3.

PC isn't a console.

PS3 has better hardware than most PC's (Except for the harddrive)
It has better hardware than any PC that anybody reading this owns anyways.

PC (If it was considered a console) would still pretty much tie with PS3 and 360 as far as games go.
Real games. Not flash games and browser games. (Yes... thats right. Im saying Runescape isnt a real game.

If PC was a console, i guess it would probably win as far as online play goes.

But... the PC isn't a console.
