The graphics look amazing! I've looked into it... Looks like they made a couple changes. The soul calibur (the sword) looks much cooler than before!

The star wars characters may be out of place, but then i dont think that Link, Spawn or Heihachi really had a place in the soul calibur universe either.
Yoda, Vader and that other guy will be fun to play as, and if your not happy with it you can either
1) NOT buy the game
2) DONT use the star wars characters

Remember kids, its a 1 on 1 beat em up, and while soul calibur has a plot, it is completly UNIMPORTANT!!

Honestly, i think that they riuned the new soul calibur with vader and yoda, like the gamecube version of soul calibur 2 was not that bad with link as a "bonus character" because its nintendo and they wanted link in the game and all that. But come on, JEDIS in a game where it is about fighting WITH SWORDS, technically the lightsabers could cut the swords into pieces!! its bullshizz!

Umm, you need to know something, Namco changed Soul Calibur from being two words to just one word. so when you write Soulcalibur IV make sure it's one fucking word.

This isn't really news to me. Vader is exclusive to PS3 and Yoda to 360, and I know also that Vader's apprentice from Force Unleashed is gonna be in it too. Eventually you can have Darth vader & Yoda fight each other via Downloadable Content. I've known this for months on end. I'm gonna sleep 'til it comes out.

If you've seen screenshots, all of the above WAS true. In the US version (and probably the UK and Australian, but this is unconfirmed), they covered Ivy up a little bit from what she originally looked like (there's still more hanging out than a sane person would leave uncovered in a fight with sharp objects). The Japanese version is still as scantily clad as before. A lot of game blogging sites, like Kotaku and Joystiq would constantly complain about stuff like that, so it's probably Namco's response to them rather than censorship, because Japanese censorship is much stricter than American censorship.

I heard there will be a limited edition with more customization options than the standard, but I can't remember where I heard that.

The whole finishing move thing with breaking armor seems cool.

The new mode looks kind of RPGish based on the screenshots, but considering the time and setting of the game, that may be a good thing.
