D3, seen the previews and they look awesome!

I'd rather play SC because it's simple and easy to play. SC2 because I think it will be a lot better ALTHOUGH they are removing the Firebat from gameplay BUT you can put it on custom maps. I think the Protoss will be 10x harder to play because they will have a meduim but expensive "arsenal" of units such as the Mothership. Only 1 will be available per player or only 1 per map. But i think the Terran will be pretty average but still hard to play. If you go to the website they have a serious ****load of units.The Zerg I don't know much about because they haven't released enough information on. but i've been talking for way too long so SC2 over D3.

Starcraft 2 > Diablo 3

One of the first games that I have ever played was Starcraft.

The country where my parents immigrated from (South Korea) basically worships the game.

There's freaking T.V. channels that are dedicated to showing the game's tourneys.

Played it, got bored as fuck just like most RPG's.

Btw Jaketheclonetrooper, you can't judge a game by just how it looks in a video.

You have to play the original to see why people love the game so much.

I have played it several times. Starcraft 1 is pretty fun, but there are better RTS's.

Personally, just personally, I think that Starcraft is the best RTS out there.

But yeah, that's just my opinion, and everyone has different tastes.

Diablo 3 looks way more attractive than Starcraft 2 because its actually been changed. Starcraft 2 looks like the original, just on a three-dimensional plane. RTSs don't have any lasting appeal, but the Diablo 2 realm is still fairly active 8 years on.

Really? You mean there's a game in the same genre as one that's been out for 10 years that is actually better? You don't say...

I favor Diablo 3. I really don't like RTS's all that much except in some special cases (Age of Mythology, Civilization). Diablo and Diablo 2 are two of my favorite games and Diablo 3 looks similar but with some improvements, which is fine with me. I'd rather them stick to the basics of the series than change it like Bethesda is doing with Fallout 3.

What?

Diablo is basically just a graphical rehash in my knowledge (don't really know about the updates, so fill me in on that).

Starcraft 2 on the other hand has completely revamped the Zerg, continues that story, and is going to make the gameplay even more fun.

Also RTS' don't have long lasting appeal? HAHA

Look at South Korea, look at them still playing it as their most favorite and most played game. Look at the T.V channels dedicated to just broadcasting Starcraft tourneys.

There is still a HUGE number of players playing online, definitely more than Diablo 2.

The community is still strong, and it's just about to get bigger.
