Seems like they are planning to make this happen, if you pay low money, you can only access local shit like ABC, and AOL. Want to blog or go on Youtube, pay them 50 dollars for a month(might not be a month).

You might be thinking, so what? Think about it, NG might not be one of those 2000 websites or hell, 200 websites and this will severely reduce traffic, which means less money, which means good-bye NG. Who knows, this could stop online gaming as well.

Wont happen. The internet will always exist, If ISPs decided to charge an on visit, new ISPs will emerge without, and people will change to them. All you really need to be an ISP is a lot of knowledge in networking and a couple of mainframes.
