Jungle animation

I'm working on a small jungle animation, but I just can't seem to create the "jungleish feel"
Any ideas?

You need much more plant life. Your little plants on the ground do not match up with the vines and stuff in the background as far as style goes. Also try adding in some close up vines in the foreground, sort of frame the shot with vines or something.

Looking good so far, just keep adding in shit until you get it right.

Jungles are darker and have many shadows. They also have small light sources with beams of light coming thru in diff sections. Try adding "light" to the picture as well as darker surroundings.

The background was created using photoshop brushes, if that's what you mean..

a palm tree in the junge WTF!?!?! You need lots more plants and tall trees. Everything needs to be more greeny and jungley colours and it looks strange with a photoshop-drawn backgrounds and a flash-drawn random palm tree in the foreground. You also need ferns and moss and other plants on the floor. Almost everywhere in the covered with plants. (exept the roads of course)

Link doesnt work for me (even when i copy and paste).

I think the problem is youre trying to draw a jungle, but theres only 1 tree. I really like the style youve gone with, but try and make it feel denser.

Best thing you could do is watch any of the Brackenwood series for inspiration, as he totally nailed the feeling of a dense forest (or wood...) full of secrets and mystery.

I personally think it's getting better :).. All left to do is adding more plants, flowers and another tree?
