Best stealth game?

The only ones i know are Splinter Cell, Thief and Hitman.
I guess my order is Hitman>Splinter Cell>Thief.
- Hitman series are my favourite, lots of disguises and action, and it's up to you whether to shoot up or use stealth, because there aren't some very powerful enemies.
- I liked Splinter Cell also, but it didn't seem better than Hitman.
- Thief is a good game but, personally, it got boring very fast.

Thief is another stealth game which puts you in the role of a thief in the middle age.
Oh, forgot to mention Assassin's Creed, but it's not really a stealth game, you slice people (when saving citizens, for example) in the most of the time. I can't decide whether Hitman is better or not anyway.

splinter cell and mgs are the only stealth games i played. i am in love with stealth based games though. hate it when im just walking behind an enemy and he just turns around to shoot me. not very realistic

Anyway, Thief was the best stealth game because it created the genre. Splinter Cell: CT is the best stealth game around.

There was plenty of cuntery on the 360 side when the 360 got a lot of the PS3's supposed exclusives. 360 and PS3 owners are exactly the same. Some of them are well behaved. some of them are total jerkoffs. To generalize one set as better than the other in any way is foolish.

What he said wasn't particularly untruthful anyways. There are plenty of Wii and 360 owners that really want MGS4 on their system. I'm sure they're not in tears about it, but there are certainly jealous 360 owners out there. That's not to say I'm not jealous of some of the 360's games though. There are certainly some games on the 360 I would like to play.

Metal Gear Solid is the pinnacle of stealth gameplay by the way.
