Reverse?
So we all know that the supercharged engines need the intake bypass valve so they work in reverse. Otherwise the supercharger would just suck all the air out of the cylinder. So knowing that, how does the turbocharged version work in reverse? The engine is trying to suck air backwards, yet the turbo wants to spin forward so I don't see how it works. Is there some sort of exhausting intake bypass valve on the turbo version? Also, if it does have the valve, does that also mean that it can make boost in reverse? Like how much boost? Like 5 psi or does it go over 20?
Can anyone help me sort this out?

I can't even remember how each works.
A supercharger uses exhaust do help drive a compressor or utilizes the exhaust gas to compress air something like that.
And a turbocharger uses the engine power to do that.

Does that kid think that exhaust gets pulled through the cylinder again? lmao.

cars dont reverse air intake for reverse they merely reverse the dircection of the transaxle gears nothing to do with the engine

take the bypass valve and hook up to the cylinder put a 2 inch bolt on there from letting air out and producing more psi makin gyour engine run smoothly

its not bullshit..its just the spec on a car engine that instead of fuel injection... it may or may not use a carborator to mix air with the fuel .... i have no idea what type of car hes talking about.. BUT.. when you say supercharges it usually mean that instead if using one line to mix air and fuel together there is probly another one that works in reverse to speed up the power of the car.
