I'll try to explain the best I can. I just got a new xbox. I have xbox live a wireless router but a wire for xbox. Is it possible to hook the wire up to my laptop and use that internet connection with the router?
And if there is a way can you explane in detail.

Yes. I use that method with my xbox (ethernet between xbox and PC, then an ethernet between PC and router, although wifi between PC and router would work fine too).

Simply plug in the ethernet, go into control panel, click network connections, highlight the two connections, right click, and choose "bridge connections".

You may have to tinker with the IP address settings on the xbox, I can't remember.

I thought the 360 had wireless internet connection capabilities. Thats weird.

You have to buy an adaptor for it to do so, an adaptor that costs £60.
